Enzo #399 is currently up for auction, with a New Jersey salvage title. It has 2,215 miles on it and is engine start certified. It is not run and drive certified, because... well...

Kinja'd!!!

Yeah. That.

It has a current estimated value of $2,364,969 USD (so precise!), and a repair estimate of $870,612.77 USD (!!!). The current high bid on it is $361,000 - what a steal! The auction ends Tuesday, Nov. 18th at 2pm Central time.

There is a video of the car here:

If you are Doug DeMuro rich as hell and want to bid on it, the link for that is right here:

So you'd rather it be left untouched, undriveable? Fuck it, I'd let them have first dibs on it for rock bottom.

Hah, Ferrari is only wanting about a million dollars to repair it. Obviously why Lloyds chose to pay out on this one rather than fix it.

Makes me wonder though if the Vatican keeps the Pope's Enzo in running condition, or if they sold it.

It must be the one that was crashed on a joyride this past summer. http://jalopnik.com/crashed-connec…

They did a killer job on that F40, it was either that a or a scrap heap.

no F40 is going to the scrap heap. I should clarify my statement. The car as shown on the show came out pretty horrendous. Thankfully several details were changed when it went to auction at B-J including more restrained black seats and correct headlights.

I thought it was bad ass on the show. I liked everything about it because it was different. I especially liked the headlights and the black.

Come on, Doug. Get Hardibro to pry open the Jalopnik coffers for the ultimate car project. "How to Rebuild a Ferrari Enzo".

Then, after Orlove takes it for a drive, "How to Repair a Rolled Ferrari Enzo".

I think it would be hilarious to do some sort of crowdfunded or Gawker funded car, but I am assured that ain't happening.

Interesting, I thought to be a salvage, the car repair has to be for 65 or 70% of the entire car's value to be a salvage. I guess after this much dmg, the depreciation of the car's sticker gets it close.

If I'm not a mechanic, and did the repair for $900,000 through Ferrari (side-note.. are they building a whole new car for this $? What can be salvaged from this car? The frame? a wheel?) what do you think the residual value of the car will be after this repair? Think I can fetch $1.5MM for it?

At the current bid, they're looking to make what.. $200k? Maybe a few extra bucks if they do the repairs themselves?
